Back in February, George and I took a little trip.   Things were slow at work so he took a couple days off for an extended weekend.  We stayed for two nights at a cute little place called the Dawson House Lodge in Chemult, Oregon.  I decided to spoil us and booked The Rose Room¹.  It was a late celebration of our one year anniversary²so we were given free champagne the first night. That night we indulged on chocolates³ and champagne while relaxing in the jacuzzi⁴.

The next day we drove to Crater Lake. We bought snowshoes for the occasion so we strapped them on and headed out.

The experience was amazing. The best thing about visiting places in the off season is avoiding the massive crowds of people⁵. I posted my best photos on my zenfolio.

We do plan on going back during the summer⁶. It is truly a magical place.
